The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring packaging materials essential for our organizations products. The Packaging Procurement Specialist will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics teams to ensure the timely procurement of high-quality packaging materials at competitive prices. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of packaging procurement processes.

• Source and identify reliable suppliers for packaging materials, including boxes, containers, labels, and packaging inserts, necessary for our organizations products
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and favorable terms
• Review and analyze packaging specifications, including size, materials, and design requirements, to meet product protection, branding, and sustainability goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to determine packaging needs and specifications for new and existing products
• Maintain accurate records of packaging purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using procurement software or systems
• Proven experience working in packaging procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a manufacturing
