Job Description
We are hiring an Indian Veg Cook for a hotel/resort located in Valsad.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality vegetarian Indian dishes and maintaining kitchen standards.
The role involves ensuring taste, presentation, hygiene, and timely food service for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian vegetarian dishes as per menu.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory, raw materials, and stock rotation.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and service team for smooth operations.
- Ensure timely preparation and service of food to guests.
- Follow standard recipes and portion control.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cooking.
- Experience in hotel, restaurant, or resort kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and time management skills.
