Job Description

We are hiring an Indian Veg Cook for a hotel/resort located in Valsad.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality vegetarian Indian dishes and maintaining kitchen standards.

The role involves ensuring taste, presentation, hygiene, and timely food service for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian vegetarian dishes as per menu.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, raw materials, and stock rotation.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and service team for smooth operations.
  • Ensure timely preparation and service of food to guests.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion control.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cooking.
  • Experience in hotel, restaurant, or resort kitchen preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and time management skills.
