Job Description

Manager – Industrial Relations & Administration will be responsible for managing employee relations, union coordination, and ensuring smooth plant operations.

The role focuses on maintaining positive industrial relations, handling labour laws compliance, and acting as a bridge between management and workforce.

Candidate should have strong experience in IR, union negotiations, and statutory compliance in manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end industrial relations including union negotiations and employee grievance handling.
  • Represent management in discussions with union officials and external authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws including PF, ESIC, Factory Act, and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with government authorities such as labour office, PF office, ESIC, and local administration.
  • Maintain and monitor employment agreements and HR policies.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of plant administration and security.
  • Conduct labour cost analysis and compliance reporting.
  • Act as a communication bridge between employees and management.
  • Handle labour disputes, inspections, and legal matters.
  • Prepare MIS reports and update management on IR activities.
  • Support HR and administrative functions for plant operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in industrial relations and union handling.
  • Sound knowledge of labour laws and factory regulations.
  • Ability to manage compliance independently.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
