Job Description
Manager – Industrial Relations & Administration will be responsible for managing employee relations, union coordination, and ensuring smooth plant operations.
The role focuses on maintaining positive industrial relations, handling labour laws compliance, and acting as a bridge between management and workforce.
Candidate should have strong experience in IR, union negotiations, and statutory compliance in manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end industrial relations including union negotiations and employee grievance handling.
- Represent management in discussions with union officials and external authorities.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws including PF, ESIC, Factory Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities such as labour office, PF office, ESIC, and local administration.
- Maintain and monitor employment agreements and HR policies.
- Ensure smooth functioning of plant administration and security.
- Conduct labour cost analysis and compliance reporting.
- Act as a communication bridge between employees and management.
- Handle labour disputes, inspections, and legal matters.
- Prepare MIS reports and update management on IR activities.
- Support HR and administrative functions for plant operations.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in industrial relations and union handling.
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and factory regulations.
