Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Officer – Purchase to manage procurement activities efficiently.
The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, cost optimization, timely procurement, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Identify and develop reliable vendors and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production or operational requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with standards.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports, documentation, and records.
- Coordinate with internal departments for requirement planning and execution.
- Ensure adherence to policies and audit requirements.
