Electrical Maintenance Technician - PLC/Automation

Job Description

We are hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician - PLC/Automation for a Medical Device manufacturing company.

The candidate will be responsible for machine troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and automation support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, servo drives, robots, control panels, and electrical systems.
• Ensure smooth operation of machines with minimum downtime.
• Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for operational support.
• Monitor machine performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and documentation.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Support installation and commissioning activities when required.

Required Skills

• ITI with 7–10 years and/or Diploma with 2–5 years experience in Electrical maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of machines.
• Exposure to PLCs, servo systems, robots, and automation equipment.
• Good knowledge of electrical panels and automation systems.
• Experience from Pharma, Chemical, Medical Device, or Manufacturing industry preferred.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in manufacturing environment.
