Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a Chemical Manufacturing company.

Candidate must have experience in Chemical industry.

Candidate will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and plant equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Perform maintenance of pumps, pipelines, valves, and utility equipment.
• Coordinate with production department for maintenance activities.
• Ensure smooth operation of machinery with minimum downtime.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and equipment performance.
• Handle troubleshooting and repair work for mechanical systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure safety standards and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with maintenance team and contractors for plant activities.

Required Skills

• Experience in Chemical industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Experience in pumps, pipelines, valves, and utility systems.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to handle plant maintenance activities independently.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance documentation.
