Mechanical Maintenance Manager

Job Description

We are hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Manager for a Chemical manufacturing company.

The candidate will be responsible for overall mechanical maintenance and plant equipment management.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Ensure smooth functioning of production equipment with minimum downtime.
• Manage utility maintenance activities and maintenance planning.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and maintenance team activities.
• Coordinate with production department for maintenance scheduling and support.
• Monitor machine performance and implement process improvements.
• Ensure safety standards and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance support.
• Ensure proper upkeep and reliability of plant equipment.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and plant operations.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Good understanding of utility systems and equipment handling.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance documentation.
• Chemical industry experience preferred.
