Plant Manager

Job Description

We are hiring a Plant Manager for a Dyes Intermediates manufacturing company.

The candidate will be responsible for overall plant administration, operational coordination, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle plant administration and operational coordination.
• Manage plant maintenance and utility maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with GPCB, GIDC, and other statutory authorities.
• Support and coordinate with production teams for smooth operations.
• Supervise labour activities, attendance monitoring, and workforce management.
• Coordinate with purchase department and other factories.
• Follow up with job work parties and vendors.
• Supervise warehouse operations including material handling and stock records.
• Verify invoices, vouchers, and maintain documentation control.
• Prepare MIS reports and maintain statutory records and registers.
• Ensure discipline, safety compliance, and smooth day-to-day plant functioning.

Required Skills

• Experience in Chemical, Dyes, or Dyes Intermediates manufacturing industry preferred.
• Good coordination and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of factory compliance and liaison work.
• Familiarity with plant operations, maintenance, and labour handling.
• Computer knowledge including MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems preferred.
• Strong communication, reporting, and team management abilities.
• Ability to manage plant activities independently.
