Production Manager

Job Description

We are hiring a Production Manager for a Metal Gasket manufacturing company.

The candidate will be responsible for overall production operations, productivity, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities and achieve production targets.
• Plan and monitor production schedules for smooth operations.
• Ensure product quality and compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores departments.
• Monitor manpower utilization and team performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and workplace discipline.
• Maintain production records, reports, and MIS.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives on shop floor.
• Handle customer requirements and production planning effectively.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in production management in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of metal gasket or engineering manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Good understanding of process improvement and production planning.
• Ability to manage production targets and operational efficiency.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety and quality systems.
